Luminous Tangle

I found that my usual saturation boost didn't quite do the trick here because of the consistent green throughout the original shot. To get the high-contrast 'Noir' feel I was after, I had to be much more aggressive with the highlights and whites while pulling the blacks right down. This really helped define the structure of the bamboo and gave the final monochrome the pop I was looking for here in Maryborough.
