Raw Etching

In this study, I pushed the boundaries of light to strip away the nature of the subject and reveal its raw, chaotic energy. It’s no longer a leaf; it is an abstract surface, like corroded metal or etched glass. For me, this piece is about the visceral 'feeling' of texture that survives when only extreme 'Noir' blacks and high-key whites remain—a raw topographical study from my own backyard here in Tinana.
