Stripped of color, the Water Dragon becomes a study in ancient textures and silvered light. I wanted to capture the "feeling" of this silent observer as he emerged from the dark, still waters—a living relic from another era. By focusing on the interplay of deep shadows and the brilliant highlights on his armored skin, the narrative shifts from a simple wildlife encounter to a moment of quiet, dramatic intensity. Standing three meters above, I felt a deep connection to this patient guardian of the lagoon, whose presence is as enduring as the land itself.
