The Agave Helix

Using a focus stack of eight frames, I wanted to capture the intricate, spiral architecture hidden within the center of this agave. Without the distraction of color, the plant reveals a silent, elegant helix of overlapping forms, etched with fine speckles and weathering. My goal was to move beyond a simple botanical study and instead capture the "feeling" of its stoic, organic geometry. By balancing the tones and enhancing the textures, I’ve tried to turn these leaves into something sculptural and timeless—Nature’s own engineering, frozen in a moment of quiet strength.
