Morning Quietude

I chose a 16x9 panoramic crop to emphasize the rhythmic procession of the birds along the water's edge. The minimalist, high-key treatment highlights the silhouettes against the soft texture of the lake. By applying a saturation boost before the final conversion, I was able to balance the silvery light of the water against the dark, grounding elements of the birds and the shore.
